I'd like to point out that the mod's are not your enemy. Yes there are terms and conditions, in fact....

"Club business must only be discussed in the Members Only Area" is one of them, the exclusion from the board by committee decision could be seen as club business!

The mod's have chosen to allow a free discussion.

"8 You agree not to negatively criticise any individual, organisation, product or service.
9 You agree not to negatively comment on the MMOC, and MMOC services, any MMOC official or any MMOC member in any way.
10 The MMOC website is not a forum for complaint.
11 You agree that if you have a question, concern or complaint about the MMOC website, that you will contact MMOC Website Editor (for content, suggestions or ideas) or MMOC Webmaster (for any technical issues) in the first instance. "

So the mod's could have wiped this thread and kept on wiping it fully within the t&c without anyone ever knowing! :D

It's a shame that JLH has been banned, I hope that he and the club can come to some sort of agreement and he can come back.

In the meantime perhaps rather than getting irate and argumentative we should look at the issues this has raised and present them in a calm and collected and positive way to the club/committee.

I'm with you Pskipper. It's all getting a bit unnecessary on this thread now.

Invariably, as posts here have shown, a refund or replacement will be offered.
Uh hu.

'course it will. Because all traders are created equal, and all respond appropriately to complaints and are committed to producing a quality product. Things never, ever go wrong.

Oooh, look. A discount on skiing holidays in hell.

I feel this thread has run its course and the throwing of buns should stop for the good of the forum and the club.
Perhaps after a period of time Jonathon and the committee could come to an agreement if they wish.

How is standing up for an injustice throwing buns?

So, has the banning of JLH been explained, for all to read, on this forum?

JLH is a very respected authority on the Morris Minor.

His exclusion from this forum is hard to understand.

This is just my opinion but I feel there is a certain amount of panic going on behind the scenes. I'm sure somewhere here I read a post that said the explanation for this action had been posted then deleted, as someone objected. I apologise if I've got this wrong-- I've been rather lost with different threads starting about all this.

Yes - there was an explanation - which offended the T &Cs - and so for that reason it was removed I believe.
'leafie' - I see you are a newcomer with v few postings - many of us have come to know Jonathon well through this forum, and have learned from him and appreciate his helpfulness to all - not just his customers at JLH. We are not 'throwing buns' - we are running a campaign to try to persuade the Committee of the MMOC to re-consider their decision to expel him - without reason apparently, since we still wait to hear the circs!

Thanks Roy, I hope it wasn't a moderator or official that broke the T&Cs by posting that explanation :D
