boot rubber adhesive
i've had to replace my perished rubber boot seal, but does anyone know the best/correct type of adhesive for this job. don't want to perish the new rubber by using the wrong type of glue/adhesive.

My 2-door saloon came with no seal fitted, but two spare lengths in the boot! They didn't have any sticky back, so I used impact adhesive.

I've used evostick time-bond a few times in the past - it doesn't work nearly as well in the middle of winter (for obvious reasons) but it does smell nice and should be used in a well ventilated area - and not with all the windows closed when you're sticking carpets in place!!

Re: boot rubber adhesive
I've used Velcro tape to keep my carpets in place.
There isn't much trying to move them and being removable may prove handy in the future.
