Clverly worded to get round the rules! He dosen't actually say the log book is included, he just says he has it to verify the authenticity of the parts, but the inference is there!

I've no probelms with someone selling the convertible bits as an easier, or cheaper way of converting a car, (though I would have thought cutting out the b post strengtheners and dash board corners was a very long winded way of doing it when they are easy enough to make - still its a pattern to copy from....), but the likelyhood of said finished car being passed off as an original convertible seems almost inevitable. I mean if you're doing a car to keep, it dosn't matter what it says on the log book, but to sell on is a different matter.
Assuming the buyer dosen't just steal one to suit....

I was tempted myself with this item as the parts are well worth it and I know I'm responsible enough to do the right thing with the logbook!
