How many owners?

Just thought I would point something out, your minor may have more of a history than you think. When the vehicle records were moved to computer and the 1st v5s issued during the 70s they said x amount of owners since the date the paper log book went in. My grandad was the 3rd owner of my moggie on the old paper log book and when he sent this in his new v5 said no previous owners since jan 77, my dad bought it from him and his log book states number of previous owners 1, so hence the owners before my grandad are not counted on the newer v5s the car was issued with. How many moggies advertised now as having only had 2 owners etc have infact had more? Send a v888 form and £5 into the dvla and see what you can find!
