Traveller 60

Post by Matt »

Who's planning on going?

Im planning to get mine up there as a work in progress (on a trailer). I'm not sure whether to wash it or leave the thick green deposits in place

I will have to get it rolling (put an axle and front hubs on) and put a windscreen in it first though!

We're going - booked in.

I should give it a wash just in case the "green deposits" decide to fly off whilst you are driving - they may be hazardous to following traffic!

They arn't those sorts of green deposits...

I do quite like the "dragged out of a hedge" look - everything (external) is covered in Algae

I'm booked in as well, that is why I have been frantically getting the clutch and gearbox replaced.
So now it is

The other problem was a lack of cheque book (I don't have one at the moment) so lets see what happens with that (a fiver in the envelope)

It'll be fine so long as it was wrapped up ok  The Club will have to sort out this paying system as not many people have cheque books these days.

They can take cards over the phone, and you can renew online... so for official MMOC events (such as this and the national rally etc) it may be a good idea being able to book these online too? Sorry thats more work for Jon...

You will be towing a trailer with those spares in then! You have forgotten your break down recovery membership card!!!
I will be attending in my Series MM with a picture of my Traveller which I would not trust to make it out of Reading without breaking down.

I must be crazy. I've been commuting in my Minor over 300 miles a week, without ANY SPARES! "Crazy mad fool" I hear you shout. I am even going to drive to Gaydon tomorrow in my spares-free Minor. It is only 2 miles from my house though, so I could always push the car if I'm caught out by my wreckless lack of spares! Gtt1951 - how are you going to fit in your car with all those bits you're carrying?! ;-)

Carlos, I only took a few pictures, but my daughter took a load more - I don't have those yet.
Mine are below (first picture shows my Traveller in the "middle" of the group)[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
Those were the 10, or so, Split-screen examples. Wider view next[frame]Image[/frame]You'll have to wait until the other photos are available to me. Meanwhile, here is a picture of the "official" photographer on a tall "cherry-picker" crane, getting "ariel" shots.[frame]Image[/frame]
