Outer front wheel bearing orientation

Post by stroprock »

Quick question; I have stripped the front suspension for my restoration and the outer front hub bearing has come apart. I have got all the ball bearings but fear I am missing the outer race. How should the bearing go back together? (and yes, I know "I should know because I took it apart" yada yada!!)

Here's a pic of how the bearings SHOULD NOT be installed.
You'll have to make sure the bearings are installed the other way around.
Copied offn the forum, don't know who to thank for it.[frame]Image[/frame]
