Hi I'm planning on fitting a child seat anchor to my moggie. It appears I already have an anchor of some sort in the parcel shelf. I think it was to hold the rear seat back in place. I was wondering if it would be ok to replace it with a seat anchor or if anyone else had fitted an anchor and could take some pics of placement if possible?
Thanks so much,
Tom

The fixing on the back shelf is a lift the dot fastener for the leather strap which secures the rear seat back.
Modern cars are fitterd with ISOFIX brackets between the rear seat back and squab

Would it be appropriate to fit a child seat anchor on the rear shelf too or better to put it in the boot?

Personally I would be reluctant to give advice regarding fitting a baby / child seat in a Minor because the Minor was never intended or designed to have baby /child seat(s) fitted.
