Minor Pull UPDATE

Post by Matt Tomkins »

Those of you who attended the national rally will be aware of the accident that occurred while recreating the famous minor pull event in the arena.

I have just spoken to Jack Morris and am pleased to be able to let you know that he is home from the hospital, who were amazed to find him without serious injury.

My thanks and Jacks go out to all the quick-thinking young members who acted swiftly to lift the car clear enough that Jack could be released. You are all a credit to the register, the club and yourselves. You acted in a truly admirable manner to help another member and should all feel incredibly proud.

I am sure I speak for all when I wish Jack a speedy recovery. Get well soon, mate.[frame]Image[/frame]

Thanks to everyone for the lovely words, and also for the card signed by most of you! im a bit cut and bruised but no broken bones or internal bleeding so i have managed to avoid serious injury! would just like to thank everyone who helped me including those who came to make sure i was ok! It was a scary experience but with the help of everyone to get me out it made it less traumatic! So yeah im ok and maybe if we do it again it should be the minor push or use longer rope

We're all really glad that you came out of it so well. It did seem a rather extreme way to check the trunnions
