Re: cover
Mine is a Stormforce all weather 4 ply. It folds down into its own carry bag. I have used it since March this year and the car always stays dry. I usually uncover the car for a few hours every week, but then I like to take it on a run regularly. The cover still looks like new.
My neighbour who owns a dry cleaners told me that they regularly clean them, people bring them in covered in algae (cover not people).

Re: cover
I'm not a fan of these things and feel that the best thing, short of a garage, is something like https://dancover.co.uk/Portable-Garages-Shelters.htm . If you have the room, Dancover do metal garages, at reasonable cost.

Re: cover
I only use it occasionally as have a garage. I have to negotiate a fridge and freezer and have a tight driveway, so have my wife on hand to assist. On the occasions she is not available (I don't trust anyone else!) the Aldi cover fits very snuggly with the elasticated fittings under the bumpers. I suppose it could be used long term as it doesn't lift in the wind and is easy to fit and remove.
Re: cover
Like paul 300358, I've got the Stormforce Plus from www.coveryourcar.co.uk
I can recommend - completely wind and waterproof (survived gale force winds earlier this week) and very light and easy to put on/take off. I don't have a garage so it's the best option I have for keeping her outside my house, and so far (c5 months) the car and the cover seem fine!
It also comes in a very nice sturdy black bag which is useful for storing other stuff!

before you do read this https://www.mmoc.org.uk/MessageBoard/vi ... o+blisters
Re: cover
Last winter my Traveller was starting to suffer outside on the drive so I started using a Stormforce cover in an attempt to slow down the deterioration. I was surprised to find that after heavy rain the car was still getting wet and even worse the roof was covered in micro blisters after a few weeks of use, maybe it's a little too snug a fit. The car has been in the garage since and the blisters have all but disappeared but it will need painting to get it back to how it should be.
