Great little film. I also watched the winter of 1963 report that came on after it, the current little flurries seem a little tame in comparison. I can vaguely remember it, mainly the snow drifts that were twice as high as me Don't remember missing school because of them either and my dad always seemed to make it to work in his traveller

yes and we had snow ball fights and made slides in the playground and fell over and grazed our knees we are too mamby pandy now

Back in the late '60's my school decided that it would be good to teach us all archery. Loads of us stood around the target while incompetent archers shot arrows at it. We could see the arrows coming towards us and moved a bit if they seemed off target.
None of us thought it was a problem at the time but I suppose it was a bit dodgy.
