Hello all

After several months looking around, I have finally bought a traveller. Smoke grey, TMK807F. Anyone know it?

Regards

Ian

Congrats! Is it a runner or a project? Share some pics with us when you can.

Not known to me. MK registration was issued by the former London County Council, more specifically by West Ham Borough Council in east London, so your car probably started out life as an EastEnder! :D

Yes - and mine (*NO reg) is, apparently, an Essex Girl!
But good luck with your new car, James.

Thanks for the replies. After seeing some very poor cars for good money, I have bought from Charles Wares. Had the car up in the air at a friend's garage today and am very pleased. Lots of new parts on suspension, steering and brakes. New exhaust and tyres. Yes you pay a price, but for someone like me who hates doing bodywork but enjoys mechanical work I think it is worth it.

Is it a project? Not in the conventional sense but all these cars are projects in a way. Jobs on list - 12v socket in car, battery isolator, temp and pressure gauges, cover for luggage area, .................. Lots to do.

I'll post some pics later.

Regards

Ian

I agree. All Moggies are projects. Even if it’s “perfect” you still have to polish and lube it. But that’s half the fun.
