Just bought 1960 convertible. Currently rebuilding front brakes, however the overall condition is very good. One owner in the past 30 years and only two before that/ Last time I had my head under the bonnet of a Moggie was 49 years ago!

Very nice. I have one very similar! They are great fun to own and drive. The brakes do require fairly regular attention but work perfectly well once in good order. Making sure you purchase the best quality components for them seems to be half the battle. Old cars are quite maintenance hungry compared with modern ones but make a very rewarding hobby too.
I hope it gives you great pleasure.

Hi and welcome and a lovely convertible. I would put an ignition cut out switch on the car as convertibles are very desirable

And although I am risking becoming tiresome with the subject, get a little window etching kit (you remember them) and etch the windows with the number plate, it puts the scroats right off nicking what in your case looks like a very nice car..
