Intermittent wiper control

Just for info the 1970s one was by Hella Part No. 5WA 001 871 041. I bought one for our Wolseley 1300, same problem, difficult to reach flick switch for the wipers. when we sold the Wolesley we transferred it to the Minor Pickup. Unfortunately you cant fit them to the MM or series 2 Moggy as they are not self parking, but a great asset on damp roads where you only need a wipe every 20 secs.

You read my mind!
My next post was going to be about this '70s version but for some reason my thread has been locked! :o
I don't know why!

Are we not allowed to explore & share projects, discuss ideas & encourage each other on this forum?

That's the one Iain :) it was in a blue and white box until you mentioned it I thought it was a Les Leston item.I also remember an item you clipped on your windscreen wipers to give you more water but emptied your washer bottle at an alarming rate

i fitted one to a 1275 Midget in the 80's - it had a potentiometer for adjusting speed, wired up in parallel to the existing wiper control, and was controlled via a toggle switch, all of which mounted neatly on the radio console, along with the Kenlowe fan switch. For intermittent control i used the toggle switch, for speeds 1 & 2 the dashboard rocker switch. worked really well, my wife still mentions how useful it was.

I have a variable period intermittent wiper box fitted to my Traveller. I can't remember where or when I bought it but it was over 30 years ago.
