Re: Son's Wedding
Oh how wonderful, well done Maurice, you sure Scrubbed Up Well for the occasion, I bet you turned a few more heads and had more admiring glances than the Happy Couple, and WHY NOT , just look at you, Wow.... I would have been proud to know I looked that good, going to a wedding, and what a privilege you had , taking the son of your Owner to this very important occasion,
All I can add is I bet a good time was had by all,
" I hope they didn't forget your glass of Bubbly"
Congratulations....

Very nice and much more tasteful than what you see most of the time these days. There was a wedding locally to me, not long back, where I think the object was to be in the manner of the Premiere division footballing set. It was all Range Rovers; very tacky .
My MG Midget was once used to take a groom to his wedding, me being best man. I doubt either of us will perform those jobs again (And you might say that we didn't do a great job last time, as the marriage lasted only 8 years).
I have said that I'd like to be taken on my last journey in the back of my Traveller (I don't think my attire would allow me to be taken in the Midget) BUT I am not in any hurry to make the journey.

Re: Son's Wedding
I wouldn't feel bad about that - your job was to get the groom to his wedding, not to act as marriage councellor afterwards (I assume!)
Anyway, very sweet convertible!

I'm sure you've got decades left . It isn't available outside their home area. If the bits and pieces could be supplied as a kit, for rent, they could be fitted into any Traveller and sent by carrier to the unfortunate people requiring them.
