Hi all new member here anyone on here able to help me trace a vin number
No vin plate on the car but number is stamped under wiring

Hi trying to figure out the build date and spec and if the vin is usable to regester the car

The number stamped into the bulkhead IS the chassis number (now called the vin number) so that should be what you need. There is a prefix too which won't be stamped in that position. What is the year and exact model of the car? With this information it should be possible to tell you what the prefix would be.
The Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon should be able to supply you with build details from this number.

Iv no idea of the year theres no plates on the car that's what I'm trying to find out

As a Split Screen, it has to be '56 or earlier.

Although repairs and modifications over the years will corrupt the details, many cars have had their lights altered for instance.
But generally, headlight position, Grill style, rear light shape and the Speedo position (behind steering wheel or in the car centre) will be the biggest clues.

OK, so it's a late series II then, because the early SII shared the 'behind steering wheel' position of the MM.
Presumably the car has a slatted front grill, and not a 'cheese grater'?
So the car is looking like '55-'56.
If you look at that link I gave earlier, the rear lights should be the style given as '54 - '56 i.e. all Red lens but with a thin chromed base, mounted on a body colour plinth.
But this might have been changed by a subsequent owner in the past 60 years.

You presumably don't know anything about the car, previous Owners etc?
Have you found it abandoned somewhere interesting, the proverbial 'Barn Find'?

Not quite a barn find ones that's been sat and had various parts taken off it like the front grill and doors
Floors need replacing but for the most part shes solid

Hence why you've not been able to comment on things like the type of rear lights fitted. Some few parts are near impossible to get for a SII, for example if you haven't get the original rear light plinths, you'll probably find it easiest to change to the '56-'63 version, because the body colour plinths are very hard to find.

If you've got the chrome surround for the split screen keep it very safe, many a Splittie doesn't have one and they are very expensive it they come onto the marketplace.

Sounds like you've got quite a project there.

Well you'll find plenty of helpful people around these forums.
I was new myself only 2 years ago, having brought a roadworthy Series II of similar age to the project you've got yourself. If you look at that link I gave earlier, the rear lights changed across the models, not always coinciding with the newer model launch, which can get confusing.

If you look at December '54 > October '56 you'll see the Lucas L549, which was a lamp common to several cars of the period, is mounted to a Minor specific plinth in the car body colour, i.e. it was part of the car. In 1956, with the launch of the Minor 1000, they had them made specifically to fit the Minor incorporating the plinth into the chromed mounting.
Basil currently has the early lamp mounted to the latter chrome base, but painted body colour. See this old topic I made when I was finding out all this stuff: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=67364
