Signature picture
Hi,
General question directed mainly at whoever edits this site: Have you removed my signature picture of my old car, Olwyn?
It seems to have disappeared and I didn't ask for it to be removed?................. Mainly as I am unable to update it, as you can't just attached signature pictures on here (unlike the original site when I first joined, not all progress is good progress), in the same way as you can pictures onto a post like this......................
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Signature picture
Okay, thanks. Any idea what's happened to it then? I have noticed that a few signature pictures have either become 'obscured' or disappeared and now mine appears to have followed suit???
Many thanks in advance for any help with this.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Signature picture
I thing if your picture was hosted on Photobucket then the link is dead (like mine) - unless you pay them for the privilege of hosting them

Re: Signature picture
It was, yes. But unless it's just me, it doesn't appear any more for some reason?? At least not on my PC screen, I just see a small box with an 'x' in it...…..??Is it me, or isn't this your 'signature' image.....
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Signature picture
I'm at a loss then, as I'm still getting the little box with an 'x' in it and I can't even see it when I'm not signed in and viewing as an outsider...………...
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Signature picture
Well, curiouser & curiouser, to use a quote from Alice in Wonderland...
Now it has gone, but not (as far as my end goes....) showing a Broken Link icon as Mike has described.
Perhaps Mike is currently fiddling with it... My signature image is hosted here for free: https://imgbb.com/ without any issues.

Re: Signature picture
Ummm... well I genuinely haven't a clue! I saw the picture earlier today too in Poolguys post, but not in the original sign line which displayed a broken link icon, but that's not there now and I haven't touched a thing!

Re: Signature picture
I can still see it, it’s nothing to get excited about though.

Re: Signature picture
Only joking, it’s a lovely looking car, I’m just posting this so others can see what they’re missing.

Re: Signature picture
No offence was taken, hence the 'lol'.Only joking, it’s a lovely looking car
She was a lovely car and I miss her, when money permits I will see if I can get hold of the purchaser and ask for 'first refusal'.
In the meantime I have Sally to get on with.
As above, Sally is in bits at present but when she's back together I will take a new picture and see how I get on with the site you mention. My signature image is hosted here for free: https://imgbb.com/ without any issues.
In the meantime I have to say I've given up on signature images, though I'm glad some can still see it (which makes it all the more confusing).
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Signature picture
I didn't understand your post at all Mike because every post you make has a picture of your green Morris Minor at the bottom of it

Re: Signature picture
What's very strange is that I NOW cannot see your signature image in any posts in this Topic, even though I could earlier this morning.
So I can't see it on your last Post above at 4:17pm....
however before I came to here, I looked at your post of 4:08pm on the Faulty Fuel Pump topic viewtopic.php?f=4&t=70910&p=644789#p644789 and it was there.....
But now I have just opened a new tab on the browser to have that open while typing here, and its gone!
All in the space of about 3 minutes.
Some of the technical aspects of this message board are just so frustrating. The Admin/Mods team have my sympathies.

Re: Signature picture
You're not alone in being confused.com...........I didn't understand your post at all Mike because every post you make has a picture of your green Morris Minor at the bottom of it
Confused??!!
Basically, on any computer that I use to log onto this site I see no signature picture when I leave a post / response.
I am also unable to see one when I visit the site without being logged in............
It seems there are some who can see my signature image and some who can't, witness Geoberni's comments above.
So it's obviously not as clear cut as my signature image having completely vanished, it's like a ghost that's visible to some and not to others....
I give up...............
Best wishes,
Mike.
