I feel that the engine might need some work, well at least an air filter.....

To be realistic, you'd have to expect to do a bit of work to any 64year old vehicle you buy for a couple of grand I think . It looks to have had a later engine (948 perhaps?) fitted at some point. Finding an air cleaner isn't going to be difficult is it.
Finding the chrome inserts for the windscreen is the usual problem with those cars and it DOES have them at least !

Yes I noticed that myself.
Chrome inserts are certainly a problem, at least that's the main thing I'm having difficulty sourcing for my SII. That and a missing Morris emblem from the glove box lid!
