Have decided to also include engine number ranges by production year!
STILL in need of cab/body numbers BUT now only need vehicles' month of manufacture - no chassis number needed - so alongside bodies, readers can also determine engine dates.

With Russ' help, Adderley Park LCVs - whereby separating Civilian/GPO & CKD production - is nearly complete.

All help greatly appreciated!!!

Major Milestone today, only ONE Adderley Park Minor GPO/PO van chassis nos. left to find!!

My Traveller was built at Adderley Park and according to BMH, no records now exist. Does that apply to LCVs of the same period or is there hope that I could find out when my car was built?

BMH had no record of my '71 LCV when I asked

It's time to hang up my coat, although I will continue with my own research.

Let someone else take up the reigns, hopefully they'll receive more encouragment?

When will you be releasing the info?

It must be a thankless task, although I suppose it could be seen as a hobby up to a point. Only Chris knows if/when the release date is. I do recall a post as long ago as 2010, saying the ID booklet was pretty much done and nearly finished. So hopefully, if this is now the end of collective research, the info currently collected should be comprehensive enough to be worth printing and distributing. The resulting income I’m sure would be useful, and go some way to have made the work worthwhile.
