Getting Heritage cert

Post by ian.mcdougall »

Hi All
Just want to get Heritage cert for Series MM . Is the body no. the two numbers on the Nuffield plate, which is the same as the long plate screwed to the bulkhead, or is it the shorter plate on the bulkhead starting with BM
Thanks Ian

The best number to quote is the chassis number, which is on a plate on the bulkhead. The plate will have text such as "Morris Motors Ltd" as well as the stamped chassis number. Are you sure that the first two letters are BM?

Hi simmitc
I have put chassis no on it starts FBE11 . It does ask if you have the body number to put it on the form, but if its not on records it will not be put on cert , and looking at old posts it would appear to be the numbers on the Nuffield plate which is on the tie plate , which are also the numbers on the long strip fixed with screws on upper l/h bulkhead where there is also a smaller plate also held on with screws which starts BM and 5 numbers
Thanks Ian
