Hello.........
( Always feel like a song coming on when I type the word HELLO )
I'd like to replace these two plates with new ones.
Who is it I need to contact?
Advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Leslie

Re: Engine vin plates
The lower VIN plate is available from 'e' bay as a blank and you stamp in the details.
See also the other parts in the 'e' bay listing below:-

As an aside and a gentle reminder - be careful about disclosing your car details as the more unscrupulous may try to clone your details to another vehicle.

Re: Engine vin plates
For what it's worth & imho, don't change these plates, a.) Near impossible to replicate punch font/pressure & b.) NEW plates too shiney.
Of course, entirely you choice.
Would also need to know registration number for the car to be any use for "cloaning", but, to be on the safe side, cover the last 4 digits of ANY id plate with a post-it when displaying it on a public forum.

Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Re: Engine vin plates
I'd have to agree with Chris. My personal preference would be to retain the original plates and their wear and tear ('patina' they call it these days....) New shiny plates always seem to look a little out of place. All down to individual preference though.
