Last saloon in Minor Matters

In the previous Minor Matters there was a detailed introduction to the last saloon project, ending with it in a sad state in Derby. This month begins with a beautifully welded and painted shell having parts fitted.

Surely on most cars the welding and preparation are the most challenging parts of a restoration. Are we missing something?

I am sorry to report that no one involved with that part of the project - welding and painting - sent me any photos for Minor Matters so that's why this issue contains pictures of suspension parts being fitted. Covid restrictions haven't always made things easy though. Since those shots were taken I have been to the Derby HQ twice to photograph more work being carried out including the engine/box going in and the rear axle being fitted. JC

Update. I have just been told that photos of the work do exist and that I will be sent a feature for a future issue. JC
