Cars for sale

Post by les »

It was mentioned recently but the time has surely come when this category is allowed to accept replies, or at least the ability for someone selling a car to notify others when the vehicle has sold ! I’ve notified moderators of my posts and two posts showing photos have been dealt with but the main ad is still showing. Let’s open all categories to replies, I know why it was locked but the ability of some folk to be offended by a remark or two, should not rule over the majority who may have a genuine comment to make, It’s like keeping the whole class in after school. :-?

It does seem at odds with the fact that you can reply to/amend post in the 'spares for sale' section.............

It all happened in the good old, bad old, days when I was still a moderator on the site (march 2014)... before I decided that paying for MMOC membership costs pretty much just to do work for them was a little daft and I let my membership lapse (April 2014)

It's like that on preserved railways too, you have to pay a yearly subscription to work for them for free, which I find bizarre.

It doesn't work like that on the Ffestiniog/Welsh Highland :)

There's more than a little thread drift here that's not really answering the original post :-?
