Saluting good customer service
Good customer service is such a rare thing these days, I reckon examples of it need to be acknowledged and shared.
So thank you to East Sussex Minors for their no-nonsense replacement of a body repair panel I’d ordered that had arrived with a small dent. It wasn’t a big dent but I didn’t want the bodyshop to have to start fixing dings in new metal, so I asked for a replacement. No quibbling, they sent through a new one and collected the old one.
Sadly, other suppliers I’ve dealt with in the past have proved rather less than helpful, which is why ESM is now my ‘go-to’ Minor specialist.

Re: Saluting good customer service
i would agree. i needed something during the shutdown last year and asked if i could collect it from their place without coming in the building. They said absolutely. no arguments.
what makes it even better is this fantastic company have purchased more of Bull Motif. They now own the Austin A30/A35 spares side of that. This is good because BM were getting worse with the Austin spares and i still own an A30 so i can get everything from one supplier!

Re: Saluting good customer service
I'm another ESM fan. I've never had any problems with what they've sent so I can't comment on that side of things but if I order online, it comes very quickly thanks to both them and the postman and if I have a query over what I'm after, a phone call soon sorts things out. It's nice to deal with a company who know what they are selling.
Best wishes, Colin.

Is it that rare? I'm not so sure, it's is just a thing people say.

My van is having some body work done on it and the classic car restorer has got nearly all the panels from ESM and they are usually delivered next day. I also buy my parts from them.

Another vote for ESM from me. Excellent service every time.
The chap at Tom Roy Morris Minors is great on the phone too. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Only had bad service twice. Goods didn’t turn up at all on either occasion. Both times from another well known, and pricey, specialist. I shan’t name them.

Re: Saluting good customer service
ESM are good and I use them allot.
It's just a shame the fit of replacement panels requires so much 'adjustment and fettling', wherever you buy them from, these days.
I now have my good secondhand front wings, I got a courier to collect them in the end, as we aren't allowed to go anywhere yet.
I am very pleased with them and they are now safely stored behind the chairs in the living room.
Unfortunately that room is about to be redecorated by me...............
At least being original I know they'll fit, they're from a 1000 model, so some adaptation will still be required for my series 2 but nothing like the 'adaption' that was required for my new replacement rear inner wings!
If anyone knows a source of new panels that fit first time please post up a link to the company to source them from.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Saluting good customer service
I suspect they'll end up in the bedroom.
When Sally finally goes back together there is going to be soooo much more space in the house!
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Saluting good customer service
also praise from me - always used to get stuff from them in 3 Days to Germany. They did send in error a few years back an order to a freinds house in England where a previous order had been sent to which I collected during a visit. They offered to resend it to me here which was a super service but my friende redirected it to me and ESM refunded the cost.
That is service.
Pity that at the moment, it is not worth ordering anything else from them due to the tariffs and the time it will take to get here.

Good! I'm happy that this thread is here and I wouldn't want to have to start moderating it

Mike, I think you came pretty close to having to moderate yourself on a recent post!!

I'd like to nominate a Business IT Solutions provider. Unfortunately, I can't. I think that I've stayed within the terms of the forum.
