From the way Mike has worded the post, I think this is only a move of the hosting so that it is somewhere more reliable.

Thank you for noticing the knots I was tying myself in while attempting to describe what's going on! Once that process if somplete, I can - and will - be more 'expansive'

Your work behind the scenes is much appreciated Mike.
I'm sure it's very complex with multiple problems, not least the way it was originally set up by volunteers who perhaps tweaked things in an uncontrolled or undocumented manner?
Though the hosting has clearly been a problem....
