Blockley tyres

Post by Grumbley »

Hi, I need some new tyres for my Traveller. My usual supplier is being pretty hopeless, I ordered some Bridgestones weeks ago and they still haven’t got them for me so I’m exploring alternatives. Has anyone tried these?

Thanks

Whilst I have not had to purchase any tyres from the Blockley Tyre Co they supply a lot of tyres for the vintage/veteran scene and have a good reputation therein.

I bought a set of Blockley tyres for my 1933 Austin 7 and find them very good.
They are cross plies with a realistic period tread pattern.
If the 145 radials are of the same quality they should be excellent.

I hadn't known that Blockley supplied this size but quite a few of my Mini owning mates are driving and competing on Blockley tyres and are very happy with them :) . I will consider them next time my Minor requires tyres for sure.
