Yellow Triangle for all pictures
Hi,
Just wondered if others are still able to upload pictures onto here?
I was writing a new post last night and added a picture, this first one uploaded fine but when I previewed the message I decided to replace it with another, so deleted this first image and went back into 'attach file'.
The replacement brought up a yellow triangle for 'invalid image'.
Since then that's all I'm getting for any image, even those that I've uploaded before??
I gave up last night and tried again this morning but it's still the same.....
Best wishes,
Mike.

I had the same issue and despite re-sizing the images it kept happening. I too gave up.jagnut66 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 7:53 am Hi,

Re: Yellow Triangle for all pictures
I keep looking at Jag Mk 2's online, sooooo tempting................ if they were just a little cheaper.......I hope you don't have the lawyers after you for copyright infringement!
I ran a couple back in the day, when you could still pick up a roadworthy example for around the £5K mark, the first one I used everyday (petrol was also cheaper) and loved it!
I've also run three or four series 3 XJ6's and a Daimler (again back in the day) as well, after the Mk 2's but the Mk 2 is my true love when it comes to Jags.
Hence 'Jagnut66'.
Oh, well, I can but dream................
Take 'Simmitc's advice like I did and clear your browser cache, if your unsure how to (I was) just type in 'clear browser cache' into your search engine (google in my case) and it should bring up instructions on how to.I had the same issue and despite re-sizing the images it kept happening. I too gave up.
Just make sure you have a note of all your passwords, as you will need to re-enter them next time you log onto your favourite sites.
With Google there are three little dots stacked one above the other in the top right hand corner of your screen, click on them and you will get a list of options, you want to click on 'more tools'.
This will give you another list of options, one of which is 'clear browsing data', click on this.
Leave it set to 'All time' with all the boxes ticked and click on 'clear data'.
Job done! Simples!
All I've got to do now is remember this advice for next time..................
Best wishes,
Mike.

Re: Yellow Triangle for all pictures
I too have given up on trying to upload pictures on this forum. I've said it time and time again this is a difficult site to use to its max if your not up to speed with the technology and the use of tech speak when asking for help doesn't make matters any easier. Not everyone understands to workings of the internet and computers in general. This is not confined to these type of sites sadly as I work for a local authority and they have the line of assumption that everyone has a mobile phone and a computer / laptop etc and they all know how to use them to the full which as we all know or should know that this is not the case so lets go down the route of making life easier to use and contribute to this forum before many give up the ghost and log off for good I say.
