Hi All!
I'm a new member of the MMOC, having recently bought my 1961 4 Door Saloon Morris Minor 1000, after falling in love with the smoke grey colour! I'm a 22 y/o postgraduate archaeology student (does the Morris Minor count as an archaeological find?) at Newcastle University! My grandparents owned a Morris Minor and my late mother would tell me all about the trips they would go in there's so I've always wanted one!
She's done only 91000 miles and is looking in nice condition, little bits here and there too be done but nothing major!
Looking forward to meeting you all at some car shows!

Welcome to the forum young man!
Minors excavated from the ground could be classed as archaeological discoveries, a few driving around look as if they they have been recently unearthed!
Your car looks very smart and I hope you enjoy years of pleasurable use from it.
let us know how you get on.

Welcome to the forum.
I had to do a double take on the last photo, it took me back to the 70’s, but seeing the satellite dish on the house brought me back up to date.
As others have said, I wish you many happy years and memorable journeys together.
Regards John

Re: New Member!
Hello and welcome.
A very nice car you have there.
I hope you have a good sized shed as well, you'll soon pick up the habit of 'I might need one of those' at spares days.
There is a young members group, within the MMOC, you might like to join as well.
Plus check out your local branch, it's always good to be able to dip into the pool of knowledge when you need to fix things.
Happy motoring.
Best wishes,
Mike.
