Rubber Rubber

Post by AndrewT »

hey all been awhile since i been on here and decided the 54 has been sat to long!
so awhile ago i got myself some correct rims (the ones with the adjusting hole for brakes) i have noticed these are riveted rims
does this mean i need inner tubes? what do you peoples run on your cars with these rims?
also where can i get such tubes if needed and tyres?

This was covered extensively in recent Minor Matters if you have the back issues, and there should be several threads on the forums in relation to your question.

Most people run tubeless tyres without issue, even on standard rims.
A bad day with my Volksie still beats a good day at work!
