Onne,

Chrome ring doesn't look quite right - should be deeper and have a hole at both sides for side to side adjustment - one locates in a peg on outer edge of front panel, and other to slotted adjuster on the inner part of the front panel, and there is also a vertical adjuster below the ring, which has a screw going through the front panel (from the front) which screws into a captive 'nut' on the chrome ring. The headlights are held in by W clips which locate inside the rim of the chrome ring. I don't have a set handy to photograph as they are at Jonathons - ask him for a photo.

Onne,

No, I don't have any spare - have you tried the club? Failing that, try our friends down under.

Plastic_Orange, what sort of headlights do you use? Are they genuine Lucas lamps?
Mine is, but I can't gte any bulbs for it whatsoever
This is it:
Image
It has a weird lamp base, with a three peg bulb in it

Onne - any 5 3/4 inch sealed beam or halogen headlight will fit. There are many manufacturers including cibie that do them, but they all vary in the pattern on the lens, and are not the same as original. I wouldn't have thought bulbs would have been a problem though.

Yes my shoes are shiney! They should be too! (And I am wearing balck trousers)

P_O, do you have picture of the chrome ring around the headlights?
I know, I keep nagging on about the things. It's just that it worries me. What bulbs fo you use ? Because the rear of your lights looks rather modern

Back on my MM,
I have decided to replace both sills, as they both are in need of welding in a couple of years, so I might as well do it properly now
