Chrome Trim either side of speedo
I have fitted a left glove box door to my Minor van, I would like to finish the job by fitting a curved chrome strip to close the gap. The van has a narrow chrome strip which leaves a gap. If you have a pair of these finishers please let me know. I see the van's finishers are handed, but I do not have a parts list for the cars.

"Chrome Trim either side of speedo" ????
Then you're talking about Glove Box Doors.????
There's several Glove Box door types, which have you fitted?
There's also a 'chromed' trim that fits glove boxes without doors, if I recall correctly.

Re: Chrome Trim either side of speedo
I have fitted a pressed steel, left glove box door to my Minor van, to stop things falling out.
I would like the curved, cast, chrome strips that were bolted to late Minor 1000s either side of the speedo, on cars with the pressed steel glove boxes.
The van is a 1971, now fitted with a glove box door from a late saloon. I do not have access to the AKD 3542 parts list to obtain the part numbers, nor add the illustration. I will pay a reasonable price and the postage, or collect, if you are fairly close to Guildford.

I thought that was what you were asking about, I just couldn't then or now understand any relevance to the glovebox door, hence wondering if you were actually asking about the glovebox chrome trims.
Best of luck locating some, I've seen them on ebay occasionally.

Re: Chrome Trim either side of speedo
I would have thought those would be very easy to obtain from any of the Minor specialists who dismantle cars. They are not a part which gets damaged or wears out after all.
