Banjo steering wheel and Traveller duotone trim

I’m looking for a decent banjo type steering wheel and duotone front seats for my January 1963 registered Traveller.
I split my time between Catshill in Worcestershire and Cardiff.

I mean they have wasted my time, asking for pictures to be sent to email address, only to completely ignore me.

Since when was due diligence a waste of time?

Fair enough, but in my book, common courtesy would suggest some kind of reply - even if 'thanks, but no thanks'......

Exactly a reply would have been nice, seeing as I went to the trouble, of after telling them I’d need to dig them out as they were in storage, so I dig them out and send emails to their email address then not even a yes, no or a thank you, but not for me etc. But to not reply at all is very rude.

I agree, it’s simply good manners to respond but of course there are people out there that don’t bother with such niceties. I’ve had this lack of response myself and annoying as it is, I sometimes wonder if the person concerned has been run over or died, probably ridiculous but stops me being too critical if I respond!
At the risk of repeating myself, time wasters are part and parcel of selling stuff, annoying yes, but inevitable.
The times you see an advert ending ‘no time wasters’ how aggressive! It suggests if you come and have a good look at the car for example, then say no, you’re a time waster. They need to get real but quite likely angry people, with other issues.

I am also rather perplexed by the number of people who post questions here, who are given various suggestions of help, and who then disappear into the ether, neither saying 'thank you', nor reporting back on outcomes. To me it is rude to ask for help, receive it, and then fail to reply in thanks. The other point, of course, is that this forum is meant to be a learning resourse - how can people learn, when the answers to these motoring conundrums are not eventually reported by the OP?

Quite agree moj. Call me old fashioned - please! - but it's just common courtesy to thank someone for something that they've helped you with.

I was recently complimented on here by posting a 'round up' on an problem that I raised and thanks to the responses I received, was satisfactorily resolved. As you say, this forum is a valuable resource for numpties like me as well as the technically more gifted and without bringing things to a conclusion, others with the same or similar queries will never know if the recommended solution was successful or not.

Odd, when you think about it...…...lack of courtesy and good manners is, in general, something we associate with the younger generation and yet on a forum dedicated to running and maintaining cars of 'yesteryear' by, I'm guessing, a majority of older members, there is a surprising absence of these fundamentals of civilised society.
