Wanted - used 948cc clutch pressure plate with at least 6 springs and 3 unused spring holes.

What are the plans for the other 3 holes, Phil? I'd be keen to know what would be a good option. I looked at a 6 spring one and the baseplate didn't have suitable lugs to convert to a 9 spring.
Cheers

Rob
The intention is to convert the pressure plate to 9 (Blue) springs which will make it the heavy duty version.
I have found that if the pressure plate has the 3 empty spring holes the actual iron pressure plate will have the surplus lugs even though it does not have the springs and spring carrier fitted.
I have now acquired sufficient parts to make up a 9 spring pressure plate so now looking for a suitable pressure plate assy.
I do already have a NOS 9 spring (6 yellow and 3 blue springs) pressure plate (Triumph Spitfire/Reliant Kitten which fits the 948cc Minor flywheel) but would like if possible to make up a fully blue spring pressure plate assembly which is the same as the B&B competition item.

Is there any way to beef up the centre plate? I'd assume derivetting would be needed to get at the take-up springs?
