Just bought a 1300 Metro manifold for my 1275 engined Minor.

The twin down pipe...….https://www.morrisminorspares.com/engin ... le-p830057
Has been unavailable for some considerable time. I am not aware of any other source currently for the twin down pipe.

Out of stock at BM also...https://www.bullmotifspares.co.uk/produ ... 02c/EX102C

Not listed at MOSS either.

I suspect that there is little demand for the twin down pipe these days as most owners go for the three branch manifold and separate alloy water heated inlet manifold.

It might be worth speaking to Maniflow, they may well have been the manufacture of the Minor version of the part that you’re looking for. They were certainly the manufacturer of the twin downpipe part that was sold for the Metro. They make all their stuff to order so they’d still have the jig. https://www.maniflow.co.uk/

I've got a 12G3538 exhaust manifold that I removed the inlet from that's up for grabs if it's wanted - I changed it for an LCB years ago and it's been surplus to requirements since.

Hi,
Phil and liammonty, thanks for comments, obviously being an “elderly” you will have to indulge me now and again!
Yes I am awaiting a purchase of the said manifold from a well known auction site!
So thanks liammonty, but will bear it in mind if I cock a doodle diddley the other one up!
By the way Phil yes the answer to my old post was very helpful,I rang ESM today and asked why they advertised the downpipe shown as inferior to the stainless version, apart from the obvious he said the mating flange was not a good fit!
Anyone any experience of the fit of this pipe?
Thanks for bearing with a old duffer!
Martin.
