Very dead car

Postby RobThomas » Sat Apr 11, 2020 6:54 am

Basically, I need a donor to supply the following...

Engine mount towers, gearbox crossmember for a 948/1098, all the clutch linkage parts, pedals, gearbox cover plate, sump, timing cover and probably a few other bits and pieces. It might be easier to buy a complete dead car, though.

I'm just west of Cardiff. Has anyone either got those bits or maybe a dead car for sale?

ta.

Rob
I've got a lot of those parts , either secondhand or new , in either the club stocks or my own 30+ years old hoard of parts.

Oops, only just seen these.

Thanks for the offers. I've formed a new bottom to the sump and adapted a letr timing cover. I will still need a few parts so ideally want a complete 1098 car since I can also use the rear axle and a few other bits that would otherwise prove expensive to post. Best to collect it all in one go, if possible.
