Indicator stalk

Postby Bubblemechanic » Sat Jul 25, 2020 9:13 am

Hi I hope someone can help I have just snapped the arm off my indicator stalk of my 1063 Traveller I was working under the dashboard putting that shield that covers the accelerator pedal rod, I was kneeling down and knelt on my knee that I had a total knee replacement on last year and when I put pressure on it it shot me forward and my head smashed into the stalk and snapped it. The indicator is only 2years old because I had to upgrade the steering column and bought the new indicator but it still only indicated left or right it did not sound the horn or flash it was just you basic model. I was wondering if anyone has one for grabs or for sale hoping the chrome is ok

Sorry I can't help with the stalk you require, but I thought I'd tale a moment to ask after your well being and if your knee is OK?
Knowing someone with a similar knee replacement, I thought kneeling down was permanently off limits with replacement knee joints.

This is what was fitted to my 1963 Minor, so I assume they are the same.....
However they are not cheap, if this is what you are looking for: ... s-p1238235

Alternatively there is this which, while still not cheap, includes the indicator stalk and has the added bonus of good spare parts with it as well. :D ... SwwO9d7SN3

Always good to know you can also just replace these on their own: ... SwX3ZcVBSP
indicator stalk of my 1063 Traveller
Of course if this is the true year of manufacture I want to know if it comes autographed by Harold Godwinson?......
Best wishes,
