What do you mean by 'Bendix Cover'?

If you mean the metal cover that is on the gearbox housing, that's the "cover starter pinion".

It is not essential that you have the cover fitted.

I gave away the engine and gearbox pre. the Zetec conversion , and am now paying the price , but no-way am I going to pay £30 for that , will have to look in the toy cupboard and get the Blue Peter Badge out....

Pretty much that size.
Could probably make one from a length of 50mm (2") dia plastic waste piping...

Stand by your beds on this one...started to fabricate one only to discover , on closer inspection, that the cast ( type9 conversion ) bellhousing is not flat , but sloping , where the cover would usually bolt , so a standard one will not fit....

Sorted , a little copper plate, some 54mm pipe and a 54mm endcap.
