Marina su carb throttle abutment plate

Postby jagnut66 » Fri Jul 02, 2021 2:04 pm

Hi,
I don't suppose anyone has an su carb throttle abutment plate for a Marina (1275 model) sat on the shelf gathering dust, similar to the item pictured below except that one is for a Mini.
The Marina one is handed the other way, as the float bowl is on the opposite side.
If so and you are happy to part with it I am in need of one.
Many thanks,
Mike.

Have you thought about turning the abutment plate over so the throttle cable bracket and return spring are on the side you want.
It does not look too difficult to overcome.

Hi Phil,
Yes, the messageboard has been down since Friday, sometime after I posted this ironically.
I have considered reversing a Mini one, there would be a little work involved, plus they are smaller than the Marina plate.
However, it is an option if I can't get hold of a Marina one though.
Mini plates seem plentiful at present, Marina ones not so.....
Best wishes,
Mike.
