Traveller wanted

Postby Grumpy21 » Thu Jul 22, 2021 8:59 am

This for adding me to this group. I'm looking for a traveller of 'medium' quality. Not interested in a £10k show queen or a £2k basket case. Someting without rot, decent paint and interior, good wood obviously and no immediate mechanical issues. It should be MOT'd and within approx an hour of Chester (otherwise delivered) Prefer a lighter colour and won't consider a black car. I know I'm fussy but I've missed 3 ideal cars over the last month when I've not been in a position to buy, now I am. Thanks

Have you found one? Did you try to check the classified ads all over the internet?

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have got one now, looked at ads everywhere I could think of. Ended up following a lead on Facebook and purchased a very reasonable car as a result.

Thanks

Hi,
Can we have some pictures then? I'm sure we'd all like to see it.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Hi Grumpy, thats a very nice motor, Btw, I can see you've removed the front. What sort of work are you doing?
Cheers. Jonnie.👍

Very nice Traveller. :D
The front end removed shot is how mine looked until very recently.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Bit of a list, rattling timing chain replaced with duplex. Canister oil filter conversion, new core plug (leaking), general tidy up and all fluids changed

Only half an hour to get the front off and made everything else much easier.
