Now looking for the proverbial "needle in a haystack" but I'll never know if I don't ask. Planning on dismantling the noisy differential from my '52 Series MM this fall/winter and in reading through the process in the original workshop manual there is mention of two special tools that are required, they are a dummy pinion shaft and a checking fixture that fits in the axle cover opening. Copies of the appropriate pages from the manual showing these items are attached, probably can come up with some kind of substitute but would be nice to have the original ones and so does anyone happen to have either one or both, know of someone who might have them or someone who had them made at some time and might still have the dimensions. Any and all advise on the repair process would be appreciated from anyone who has worked on the split case rear axle.
