Rear Bumper Valance

Postby Maude1965 » Mon Sep 13, 2021 1:43 pm

Hello!!!

Having bought my very own MM after many years of dreaming about it, I’m now a proud member of the MMOC, so ‘hello to you all’.

Maud, is the newest member of the family, 1965, 2 door, dove grey saloon. She’s somewhat of a bitzer in need of some TLC. I’m after a rear bumper valance as currently only have the blade. I’ve done the whole eBay thing with not much joy and tried ever breakers yard in Devon with little success. So I wondered if someone could help please or at least give a gentle nudge in the right direction... any response would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!
Matthew 😊

ESM do a glass fibre one

So do a lot of places. it seems that metal ones are somewhat harder to come by.

Thanks very much to you both.

Yes, I’ve seen the fibre ones too but being bit of a fussy purest I’m ideally after a metal one, but as you say a little like hens teeth. Oh well, the search continues!

Take care!

One of the great things about Morris Minor ownership is that there are a good number of Morris Minor specialists. The club magazine is full of their advertisements and I have always been able to find every item I have ever required by making a few phone calls or emails

Matthew
are there any AutoJumbles near you?
I see your first post mentioned Devon, which is a bit out on a limb so to speak, but might be worth a try.

Hi,
Try 'Minorparts of Oxford', I've bought a few items from Richard and I've always found him very helpful and the parts spot on.
Link below.

https://minorpartsofoxford.co.uk/
If you try to contact him though you'll need to email him from your email, as the onsite 'contact form' doesn't work for some reason.
rgplant@minorpartsofoxford.co.uk
When I email him he usually responds within a couple of days.
Best wishes,
Mike.

Yeah I’d love to go to an Auto-jumble but a bit tricky down yer ha ha! Thanks for the Oxford contact, I’ll give them a look. Thanks again for all the feedback as it’s always reassuring to know someone’s always out there who can help. 😁
