... just got back from the MOT and on the way there my indicators stopped working, They are a bit sticky so the self cancelling isnt working yet. Once they had had some time to rest they worked again beautifully.
I have the flashing side and brake light arrangement, and thus the 8 way relay.
Can somthing in this overheat? the relay? the flasher its self?

I had that kind of incentive for a period- mine smoked when you didn't cancel them. Solved that one pretty quickly though! It was a pair of wires mixed up by (presumably) the last owners... Same with the wiper unit, though it took a little longer to notice that smoking because of its position...
