Hi John what is the model and year of your beloved.
Should be ready for tea time.
Re: Security devices
24 year old blonde if he's lucky.......... Or perhaps it was the car you were asking about??? How would that affect anything?

Re: Security devices
I'll go for the 24 your old blonde if that's OK
However, on certain models the wiring was subtly different and makes this makes it a bit more work.

Re: Security devices
My beloved is a '69 4 door, 6 months younger than my good self
Roy, a 24 year old blonde would be nice, and probably a lot less hassle!!!
Regards
John

Re: Security devices
I'm sure they all have the same wire going to the piece of equipment we are going to secretly 'switch'.......

Re: Security devices
Ah there Roy you have it, the same bit of wire going to the same bit of equipment. On some models its different, however on a 69 model its bog standard. Try and make it different, and a secret switch, then that’s a bit more of a deterrent.
John I will PM you with the info.

Re: Security devices
I came across this thread and was hoping for some advice. I have just bought a cobra immobiliser and would appreciate anyone who has one fitted to pm me with exact instructions on how to wire it up? The manufacturer’s instructions are not very clear. Thanks for any help
