Thanks John, I have been reading a lot about speedo's of late as this one just confused me a little with the 880, I was converting yesterday but my dyslexic brain was multiplying 808 with 1.6 which was not helpful, it was only when I found this post last night that I saw the serial number match that gave me hop again!!

Though there is a comment here where its suggested that a 3.9 final rear axle ratio would work, which left me wandering!

The mph speedo with black face , 90mph and 1408 as part of the number is right for the 1098 Minor in standard spec. Sometimes I have seen one with 1376 tpm fitted.
