Hi
Anyone know if starter solenoids are different for different earths. eg pos earth for pos earth cars ect.

No, the solenoid is a simple coil that is not polarity sensitive, so they are common to +ve and -ve earth cars.

They are not. Almost nothing on a standard Morris Minor is polarity sensitive.

That’s what I though, my grandad mentioned that when he bought a new solenoid for his 64 Morris 1000 (same as mine) he was asked for the polarity, believe he used esm at the time
