Hello Sandun, The wiper motor is wired in an unusual way. The switch is on the earth side of the motor. That earth wire is the black ones that were on the control box E terminal when you had a dynamo.
I expect those black wires have lost its connection to the car body.
Just earth the black wires to the car body and hopefully it should work.
The +12V supply is switched via the ignition and one of the two fuses next to the control box.
Good luck.

The damaged red wire needs replacing. It is the auto park wire. If this wire touches the body of the motor the wipers will start even with the switch off. Mark the disc section that the wire is connected to in relation to the body as it adjusts the park position.
The broken and missing plastic pieces are insulators for the spring to attach to, this pulls the brushes against the commutator.
You could make some yourself out of plastic or buy a new brush holder set for Lucas DR2/DR3 Wiper motor.
