Re: Indicator Cancel
A dab of thread lock or bearing retainer and a tap home with a hammer should fix it, being careful not to get thread lock on the spring loaded lever or its pivot point.

Re: Indicator Cancel
Just looking at the pics you posted I can see one of the triggers is loose on mine.
The pin on which the trigger pivots in is higher and consequently the triggee is just spinning. The trigger has two flats which should marry up with the two flats on the pin
Im not sure if this pin is pressed in or screwed. I need to investigate

Successsimmitc wrote: ↑Sun Feb 17, 2019 6:01 pm That looks to be in order. Here's a working switch in the centre or off position:
Centred.JPG
Now with the left hanbd position on, we can see one of the triggers sticking out furter:
Left.JPG
Because the trigger is spring loaded, the itt (it will forever be that on this board) can pass from the centre outwards without any problem, but as it returns to the centre, it will hit the trigger and cancel the indicator.
The same applies when the right turn is in play:

If the itt is hitting the trigger then it should self cancel. With everyhting lined up correctly, the only adjustment would be ot extend the itt a little; and if that doesn't work then you're probably looking at a new switch. The connections are bullet style and can be accessed by removing the glove box liner.
the pins which the trigger piviots on are on splines and one of them had come loose
I also needed to raise the itt by slackening off the column and raising it a little
Thanks all
Re: Indicator Cancel
Well done
Re: Indicator Cancel
or just replace the triggers if they are worn, the rivetts that hold them just push in.. Club spares can supply from scrapped switches.
