Hi gang
Tested the lights on the Morris for the first time and they worked
Well sort of
Headlights came on and indicators sort of work but if I indicate right for example my right indicator blinks brightly but my left one does dimly and at the back my brake lights seem to blink a bit too haha.
Pretty much the same if I indicate left
Is it just a case of trace the wires back or is this something that makes one of you go ahh I know what that is.

Hi,
'Poolguy' is right but what state is you wiring in overall?
Is it in reasonable condition, or is it a hacked about, patched, bypassed and patched again mess like mine was?
These cars are 60 plus years old now....
Best wishes,
Mike.

Any case of other lamps illuminating dimly when they shouldn't is almost certainly an earthing problem. A high resistance earth on a lamp causes the voltage to find another path to complete the circuit, via other routes.
