What are these?

Post by Molly123 »

Hi
I’m working on my recently purchased traveller and found these, wired, sitting on the parcel shelf. I’ve no idea as to what they are. Can anyone help?

They look like accessory sockets that provide power for "cigar lighter" plugs. Not standard factory fit, but added by a previous owner, perhaps to charge a phone or power a SatNav.

Their origin (electrical connection), might help as might their polarity (same or not) might make suggestions more appropriate. Certainly not a common item, for sure. Knowing how they are connected might simply prompt suggestions of what to do with them.

Wires go through bulkhead near cold heater supply ,so open bonnet find wires and see where they go . Looking at cables and numbers on them they are modern and have a look of co-ax type cables. Just my two penneth worth
