Post by Michiel »

Dear all,

Where should I connect the braided engine earth cable to. Gearbox and chassis leg? Left or right side. Which gearbox bolt. The car came without an engine earth cable :-?

Thanks

Mine is connected between one of the gearbox crossmember bolts, and one of the three bolts that hold the steady cable bracket to the gearbox. This is on the passenger side of my UK car (left side when looking forward from the driving seat)

Indeed. I once experienced a fuel pipe which was very hot when operating the starter motor.🙂
