Ducellier Distributor

Post by midget »

Have found a Ducellier Dizzy in my box of old Distributors, and wondered if they are any good?
Apparently they were used in the days of industrial disputes when Lucas could not supply? I notice that spares are available still, so are they worth pursuing with, or not worth the bother?

Nothing wrong with a Ducellier distributer. Used on lots of continental cars with no problems.
Shame to scrap it when the spares are available.

That is correct about them being used when Lucas parts were unavailable. You might be able to tell what car/engine it's for from the serial numbers.
